Gym Newb. Please comment on my planned workout. - by: Play_time_is_over

I have gone to the gym before but due to being a pussy whipped beta I never really took it that far. This time I am FREE AND AWAKE and want to get big and ripped - it's a dream of mine. See attached a photo to show what I'm working with.

Natural Stance & Flex / trying to stand like I probably should.

Currently I am doing martial arts which was very effective at getting me to 10% BF. I was very ripped, v-line, veins, 6-pack etc 2 yrs ago but the problem is martial arts wont give you big muscles and when you got a shirt on you can only really advertise your shoulders / arms.

So I will continue to do martial arts 3 times a week and the other 3 times I will be in the gym. I want to focus on getting Big arms, broad shoulders and good posture "alpha posture" I'm 6'4" and my posture is shit.

So my idea is to these exercises so please can you comment and decide if I should go ahead or no. I like simple workout - most effective type - no micromanaging isolates or anything.

- Dumb Bell BenchPress

- Dumb Bell Row Or T-bar Row

- Dumb Bell Overhead press

- Lat Pull down OR assisted pull up (my elbows are fucked so I can't do a full pull up without joint pain)

- Hammer Curls

- Some kind of posturing exercises (Shrugs? Danger&Play ALPHA posture workout?)

Of course there is Squat / Deadlift and I think I will do them eventually but not to start out as the martial art I do is majority leg work, and basically where all my muscle mass has gone too atm.

I want to work my way up to 5 rep system but due to needing to strengthen joints I will start at 10 rep, 8 rep then 5 rep. Any help is greatly appreciated.
