So I have restarted the AA program a couple times. I quit because I found it tedious going through the basic exercises, which are disingenuous. E.g., fakely asking for the time feels a bit guilty and so adding on each thing I waste her time while I could be doing real approaches and giving her what she wants (i know...i'm a nice guy). But after smokng a bowl of the good ole green goods, I thought of a better way for me, which would be the reddit 100 sets way, where I just pick my sticking point and do that for 100 sets. If I am honest with myself, my sticking point is approaching at all, forget trying to do well. So my canned line would just be "do you have the time".
Now I was kind of thinking GLL's program wasn't good when I decided to do 100 sets, but maybe the Program would be good if this was how I was treating it- doing every drill over until I am totally comfortable. Up until now I have feared running out of girls by asking fake questions. But if I'm doing an easy drill that doesn't drain my introverted brain maybe I can gain some outcome independence to make later drills easier. And just go one step and repeat until completely comfortable. Might take me a year but it would be easy if I was doing an appropriate exercise for my feeling at the time. Does that sound like the right approach?
