I yoyoed between 320 and 380 since high school. In 2012 I was near the high end and decided to try again and stepped on my elliptical machine and hurt my foot leading to a year of basically being a cripple and my weight ballooning to 440+. I've gotten down to 270 and everything has changed. Found GLL through the bodyfat face post which is really inspirational for the last leg.
Up until a couple months ago I hadn't asked a girl out or been on a date for about 5 years. I had a really bad experience and just decided pursuing women wasn't leading anywhere and wasn't fun. I still believe that was a good decision and I enjoyed the intervening years as much as possible.
In 2014-15 I lost a number of relatives which really took it out of me. Then in 2015 I had some health issues which led me to try KETO that got my weight back down to the long term floor I never could break below. Like all previous diets I was cold and sleepy all the time and it stopped working.
Then in January I stumbled on water fasting and have lost 80+ pounds to 270 (all time low about 25% bodyfat, had a dexa at 32% at 305). Unlike diets I feel awesome, have lots of energy and it just keeps getting easier.
So now I'm apparently well on my way to being attractive and I plan on revisiting the women thing. (I've actually gotten opened 2 times in the daytime the last couple of months! Also smiles and double takes or looking at me with eyes in a lingering way very common now.) I'm planning to really start trying once I get the weight off since I figure it'll be easier and a better use of any extra energyI have now is professional projects
Also I'm trying to get my professional life back in line. Hopefully never have to practice law again. I have alot of resources so with the low energy and health problems and no real prospects I didn't really have alot of motivation.
First goal is to finish the weight loss and get down to 12% or so bodyfat per dexa.
Professionally I have the following that I work on in order during the day. My major hangup is overthinking things and getting anxious.
I have the following projects
1. Sell domain names
2. A dvd for attorneys that's done and I need to market
3. I want to start a weight loss/fasting blog with self improvement and personal finance angles (lots of stuff from being a bankruptcy attorney I noticed)
4. Also plan to start link brokering. I have alot of contacts with writers that I've developed.
