I had a lot of free time today and was hurt so I couldn't go out, as a result I watched TV for a bit but then I got curious and started Googling random shit. One thing I googled was social life after college and partying after college, just to see what would come up and man that shit was heavy. Then I ran into sad post after sad post, most of it was on blogs like Thought Catalog, Elite Daily, and Buzzfeed but a lot of it was also highly upvoted reddit comments.
It's like you're either a miserable married man with a gut who is getting balder every year and has to deal with a nagging wife along with kids he regrets being a father too or you're some socially awkward guy who is single because he didn't have the skills necessary to attract a woman.
Partying? Making friends? Having fun experiences?
Forget about that shit! You're supposed to be miserable paying taxes and holding down a fucking job instead of having a fun time in life. After all that, I got the impression that if you didn't live it up during your school days, you missed out big time and won't be able to experience that shit ever again.
I always say 25 as the age a man is slowly starting to come into form. Now he is growing in his life, his career/business, looks, and figuring it all out. Yet it seems like life is supposed to end at that age or that is the age where things are supposed to get boring and go downhill, not the age where things are supposed to get fun and exciting.
There are so many on GLL that have lived it up well after the age of 25 and do things like getting laid a lot, getting wasted, making friends, and just enjoying life.
I just have to ask, why is there so much depressing shit out there about life after the age of 25?
