I'm going to turn 40 soon and I am already seeing my muscle mass deteriorate and it's gotten much much harder to gain muscle.
I have been eating the same way since I was 12 - a lot of crap/carbs/sugars that I got in the habit of loading on because I was skinny as a kid and wanted to gain weight.
Now I'm addicted to crap and though I had always had a good body just naturally, I am now turning soft. I'm not fat at all, but mushy and my muscles aren't responding to weight training very well.
I'm guessing a different diet will help reduce flab that's developing but is there something I can do to make my muscles start up again?
