As I just started my Postgraduate, I posted a message on a Postgrad Facebook group about meeting up with new Postgrads during induction events. I had a few people add me on Facebook, and one of them was really hot! Much hotter than any of my Tinder matches.
I messaged saying 'Thanks for the friend request
' and we've been speaking ever since.
I'm in the process of trying to arrange a coffee date when we're both free (we're both really busy at the moment). However, I'm terrible at dates. It's therefore likely that I'll be friend-zoned on this 'date' as my flirting abilities are very poor.
I feel like letting her know that I think she is cute before the date, might change the dynamic of the date - and in turn she might find it easier to like me as more than just a friend (if that makes sense).
However, I don't actually know if I should just bring up in a text that I think she is cute, or if this is just a really dumb move.
Any advice?
It's maybe a dumb question, but it's been a while since I've been on a date of any kind. And help is appreciated.
