I think about it EVERY FUCKING DAY. I do not believe in god, but wish I could. I am just too much of a skeptic and was not raised religiously. I started having serious depressive episodes when I was 18 because of girls, but in the back of my head was the idea that I would die and have not lived life (sex and girls being a big part of life).
Now its years later and the sex and girls checklist is mostly ticked off, but that feeling is still there. Not in a depressed sort of way, but more like something I know I will have to confront.
Anyway, do any of you guys think that technology will reach the point of being able to stay alive indefinitely within our lifetimes? I feel like we're a few discovering and a ton of policy changes away from something like that happening. You look at people like Peter Theil and they seriously get you thinking about what can and can not be done.
