How should I go about this? - by: MK1776

Alright, long story short I ended up at a somewhat small private university outside of Tampa Fl. It's pretty much like highschool. I see the same students everyday so I can't afford to build a bad reputation around here. Since I've been here, I've hit the ground running and approached quite a few women, with only one going anywhere near a lay. Long story short, I blew it with that one by taking it too slow after trying to take things too fast. She says she could see being with me but isn't looking for anything romantic so I pretty much cut her off. Funny thing is 2 weeks ago she hits me up and is so excited to hang. Well, this time I mess things up because I came off too desperate. A stupid mistake really, we were supposed to go out one night and she tells me she can't make it to this party because she's sick. So I say it's no big deal. The next day a friend tells me he saw her on campus chilling with some dude ( who I later found out was actually her friend) and I shoot her a text which basically said hey, my friend saw this and I just wanted to let you know that I understand if you have a thing for this guy and wanted to cancel. She tells me what really went down (which is later confirmed by one of my other friends ). anyways, I attempt to apologize and it has been awkward ever since. She used to check me out but now she avoids looking at me. It's a really crappy feeling knowing I should've just kept my mouth shut without knowing the whole situation.

With that said, I've been focusing on going out with the some guys in a fraternity, and just trying to adjust to school life again after being in the military. I'll be rushing for them next semester and I'd like to have some tips from you guys on how I can make the most out of college when it comes to getting laid and having fun. I'd like to stress the point that this is a small university and I'm not trying to establish a bad reputation.

Here is what I'm doing so far...
I'm working out, eating pretty healthy, getting schoolwork done, got the bathmate, going out on the weekends with the guys or attending a party they're hosting and that's it.

- 6' 2" and 155 ibs skinny with a slight gut, but nothing substantial.

Here's what I'm not having a good time with
-I really want to get that previous girl back, because she's actually pretty smart and has some good character. The problem is I came off too needy AGAIN and I think I messed it up for good this time. For now, I'm continuing on with no contact... again.
-I can go to the parties and make small talk, but I have no idea on how to progress or be the guy that girls want to fuck.
- I can't really dance so I avoid the dance floor, my only options are drinking games and conversation really.
- I'm thinking of doing the AA program, but my school is kind of in the middle of nowhere and it would take quite a bit of gas to be going out everyday just to meet the program requirements.

What can I do here guys?
