So I recently got back into using Tinder and Ok Cupid two months ago. It has gotten me depressed as shit and very insecure about my looks. I basically get very few matches (one or two uglies per day - lucky days I get 5), most don't even respond to my opening message. I've found very serious studies on the web that prove around 97% of female attention online centers around extremely looking guys. Here's my data:
- I'm 32 but I've changed my age on Tinder to 26 (I look younger) so as not to miss out on younger 20 something girls who filter out guys older than 28.
- I currently have a lay count of 80. Most of my lays come from day-time cold approach, followed closely by extended social circle and very few night game lays. Only 7 of these 80 women have come from online (all of them these past 18 months as I didn't have a smartphone before).
- Out of the 7: 4 from Tinder and 3 from Ok Cupid. 4 women have been below-average, 2 have been average, one has been above-average. 4 have been ONS, 2 have been twice girls so far (latest ones) and one was a fuckbuddy.
I barely get any matches and no responses now, even though I recently starting swiping right on every girl almost (out of desperation to get matches). My initial thought was market conditions had changed and now it was ok for guys to ask for sex right away. I was not being aggressive enough and was being beaten to it by more ballsy guys. Then I just realized that I simply must not be attractive enough. I simply don't make the cut anymore and do not pass the looks threshold for the vast majority of women. Is this the case? Or what's going on?
