I work the typical 8 to 5 career, office corporate type of job.
Approaching my late 20s and I've always wanted to do something like bartending or working as a bar back, not sure I want to be a bouncer though.
I wonder if bartending and just working at a bar is a full time job like accounting or if it is something you can pull off while having a 9 to 5, I'd honestly love the extra income on the side but also the experiences that come with it.
From what I know, they'll start me off as a barback and I am cool with that but I wonder if it is something I have to quit my full time job for or if it is something bars can work with.
My other question is about age, assuming I don't want to work at a cocktail bar and am looking for the kinds of bars where hot girls are likely to go to, how old is too old to consider bar work? Is 30 like the cut off for most bar managers?
