I am in the process of changing cities and I will be moving to a city that is a hotspot destination for people in their 20s right out of college. Due to factors concerning commute and me not wanting to live in the suburbs, I found and finalized a good high rise apartment which has a rooftop pool, bar, and a clubhouse. The guide told me that they do events and parties for residents which have free food and occasionally throw some decent parties as well.
Took a tour of the rooftop pool and saw two 8s there, not sure if apartment paid them to be there for show or if they actually lived there.
It is going to be a few hundred dollars more expensive but I realized it beats the hell out of living in suburbia.
The high rise is also near a lot of bars as well, I saw three good bars right across the street from it so this takes cares of logistics for sure.
So my question is, does anyone have any experiences in these apartments?
Are parties and other events taking part a good place to run game or is it a bad idea to fuck some of your neighbors?
Are the parties and events any good or are they usually lack luster?
