I've heard about this from my friends who go to relatively small colleges (under 7000 students). Basically: they're douchebags, they fuck a good number of girls (4-6 a semester) but because of this they've gotten a rep as a douchebag. People who my friends don't know will have heard of them when they meet for the first time and tell them "Oh you're that kid who did Y or Z."
Is this a bad thing and if so is there a way to avoid this?
Maybe it's not just the fact that they fuck girls though, they are close to the stereotypical loud drunk asshole.
One of my older friends (Senior at my college) did tell me to "take it easy and don't hook up with a lot of girls your first semester, then the girls will come to you later" So I guess I'm also wondering about true this is.
Going to college this fall.
