Hey guys, I need your help.
I am trying to move out of my parent's home by the summer near the DC area (I went to college near there). I graduated in spring of 2016 and stayed home for the past year to help my parents out. My parents (my dad specifically) was going through tough times and was quite depressed. He is feeling much better now and is finally back on his feet and is working full time now.I also needed this year to isolate myself from my friends (only have 3 REALLY close friends, everyone else just came and left) so that I could figure out what direction I wanted to head towards.
Now that my mind is made up, I need to find a place where I can live and pursue my dream. I am 23 years old and I need to make the most out the rest of my 20s. I grew up in a religious household so I could not bring any girls back to my place (I couldn't party/ go out etc).
Any good websites that help you find good apartments for a cheap price? I am trying to live a few blocks away from the club and bars as Chris suggests.
I also need to find a good part time job that will take care of the rent and food. I am not an extravagant person at all, but there are a few things that are a priority to me, one of them being my health (aka looks). So I am not cheap with food (I'll pay extra for organic, I'll pay extra for vegetables, quality etc.), gym membership, supplements, skin/hair/teeth products, etc.
I graduated with a kinesiology degree which isn't worth shit. So I am thinking about doing personal training and possibly uber on the side.
Any suggestions or tips for a young buck trying to live on his own for the first time (specifically on finding an enjoyable part-time job, and a decent place to live)?
