Whats up guys,
Been doing a lot of thinking lately and I'm really planning on moving out by next year (about 365 days from now) from my parent's house.
Situation
I'm an 18 years old student that graduated high school last year. My parents are forcing me to go to a community college by my house and they expect me to graduate by next year and transfer to a FOUR YEAR university. They expect me to loan money regardless of debt. They want me to go to university even thou I have no dreams or passion of going there.
(and No, trying to stand up to my dad doesn't work. I either have to move out or follow the rules as long as I live with them)
I don't have any choice but to move out by next year. If I stay I'm expected to graduate the 2 year college then transfer already.
On top of all that my dad tries to still control when and what time I should get home. No freedom at all even though I ignore those curfews and still come home late. Bad logistics, and everything. I have no other choice but to move out from what I can see now.
I currently have no money saved up. I'm working on creating a small niche website but I don't think that going to be a HUGE website to start paying for those costs. It's just a small website with a goal of atleast making $500 a month.Not enough at all.
Later on I will open a HUGE online store but until then I need a gameplan for now.
What would you do if you were in my shoes and had to move out in exactly a year with no money saved up so far?
What kind of job would you get?
What skills would you learn?
How would you go about it step by step?
(By the way I live in the United States of america in California...so do understand the cost of living is a little pricey here)
