Hey guys.
I'm a 17 year old senior and I'm about to finish high school soon.
I'm going to college, but I want to go to Reading and Leeds Music Festival with a fuckbuddy that is somewhat my girlfiend (it's in Reading, England). It'll be the last time we have to hang out before I go to college and start fucking other girls. The only problem is that it just so happens it's August 26-28, and college starts August 24.
I told my parents about my plans to go (I'm paying for the whole trip) and they got extremely mad. My dad grabbed a coffee table and literally flipped it, and both of my parents called me stupid. They even threatened to cut my college money (they're paying for me to go) if I go to Reading and Leeds and they'll make me move out. Then my parents got into a big argument and now they won't talk to each other.
Honestly, I'm not that excited about college. I don't really want to go, but since my parents are paying, I'll make the most of it and party and fuck as many girls as possible.
I still want to go to Reading and Leeds because it's a once in a lifetime experience (9 of my favorite groups are going to be there, plus it's in a different country).
What's your guys' advice on this bullshit situation? Should I tell my parents I'm an adult and go (I'll be 18 by then) or do I miss out on this opportunity?
Is skipping 4-5 of the first few days of college really that big of a deal?
Any advice is appreciated guys.
