Gaining Log - by: Daniel Thorne

Started at 144 pounds with no gym available. I'm doing what I can at home with a barbell and pull up bar. Aiming for 300 to 500 calories over maintenance every day, doing overhead presses, towel pull-ups, dips, and farmers walks. (No, I can't do deadlifts, but I'll be building blocks soon so that I can)

I'm three weeks in at the moment, doing fine. Current weight, three weeks in, is 150 pounds. I weigh in weekly on Monday mornings after taking a dump and before drinking or eating anything. So far, I still have abs, so I'm not getting fat too fast. I may up my calorie intake and see how high I can push it.

Lifting maxes at 150 pounds
Overhead press : 125x1
Pullups : 11, clean, with 15 pounds extra on my waist
Dips : 12 with a 5 pound weight belt
Farmers walk : 60 pounds, 2" PVC handle, about 180 feet

6 weeks left, I'll update this more regularly with progress. Really hoping to hit 15 pull-ups with the 15 pound weight and a 135 pound overhead press max in the next two weeks.
