What are your goals?
Throughout my 24 years, I've seen all kinds of people. One type of person I've seen that I admire is the kind that is able to be comfortable having private moments in public. Someone who is socially free who speaks their mind when they want to and goes for what they want. I want to be that type of person and I'm willing to put in the work to make it happen. I've been going out to bars/clubs for a while and although there has been progress, it's been slow and I'm far from where I want to be.
If you could accomplish ONLY ONE THING in the next 12 months. What would it be?
I can't really pick one specific thing since there are so many important areas in my life that I am making an effort to advance in that absolutely must see progress, so I'd have to generalize it all as just being a better version of myself; one that's more in line with who I want to be.
How long have you been reading self-improvement stuff? Pickup/dating material?
I've been reading self-improvement stuff for the last 2-3 years or so and pickup/dating material for the last 3-4 years.
What are you main blockages?
While my interactions are far from stellar, I am able to do pretty well once I get going and obviously this will get better with experience. My main problem is definitely approach anxiety and maybe a bit of social anxiety to complement it. If I was able to conquer approach anxiety, I'd have way more interactions and with experience become better at executing those interactions. All the time, I see girls I want to talk to and even though logically I know there is no reason not to approach (I have over the course of my approaching dealt with the fear of rejection so it doesn't bother me), I still have that crippling, nonsensical approach anxiety holding me back.
What's your experience level, more importantly- what's your dating/sex life been like over the past few years?
I go out to bars regularly and have danced with and made out with a lot of girls cumulatively (but not as often as I'd like to), had around 7-8 girls over after the bar, and got laid 3 different girls. I've been on just a handful of dates but it's a negligible amount and no, I've never had a girlfriend. I'd have to say that although I've done more than the majority of guys ever can say they have in this respect (that's not saying much since the majority of guys don't really achieve ANYTHING in this pickup realm), I'm definitely still at a beginner 'level'.
